Prescott Circle Trail

It seems like it has been ages since I packed up my gear and headed out on the trail to enjoy the serenity that only a northern Arizona sunrise can bring. With a forty pound Tamrac backpack full of all the cameras bodies, lenses, and accessories I could possibly stuff into it I headed out for an adventure waiting to be discovered. One cannot miss driving by all sorts of hiking and biking trails around Prescott. These trails lend an almost unlimited source of outdoor activity from the novice to advanced. This mornings adventure started out on The Prescott Circle Trail, which includes trails from the City of Prescott, Prescott National Forest and Yavapai County for a 50-mile loop around the City. Once the sun had made a majestic appearance I packed up and made my way to Watson Lake. And even though the water levels are at a record low, I tracked my way through the Reparian Preserve near the Pevine Trail until I had a great view of Granite Dells. I stopped and reflected on what God was allowing me to be a part of and the gratefulness I had to be living in such a beautiful part of the world.
